Quantum Mechanics

Quantum mechanics popularly known as quantum theory or quantum physics is a branch of science dealing with particles beyond atomic and subatomic particles , the particles constituting the subatomic particles are really tiny particles known as elementary particles . These particles have their own interactions also  . With the latest research , matter composes of molecules which further break into atoms , now we are knowledgeable to the fact that atoms comprise of protons ( + charge ) , neutrons ( no charge ) and electrons (- charge ) , now these subatomic particles are further made up of elementary particles which are yet to be known of any substructure . There are 3 types of elementary particles :-
1. Quarks
2. Leptons
3. Bosons
and these have their respective antiparticles ( Particles having same properties with same magnitudes but different signs )
There are 6 types of quarks yet known , they are UP quark , DOWN quark , TOP quark , BOTTOM quark , CHARM quark and STRANGE quark . They have antiparticles like UP anti-quark , DOWN anti quark and so on.
In leptons , there are again 6 categories of them , they are Electron , Tau , Muon , Electron Neutrino , Tau Neutrino , Muon Neutrino . And there antiparticles like Positron ( +e ) .
Now Bosons there are many , and many of them are yet to be confirmed . They are the force carriers , Like Gluons for strong interaction , W & Z bosons for weak interaction , photon for electromagnetism and gravitons for gravitation and its yet hypothetical .
Apart from elementary particles , there are 4 fundamental interactions which are also mentioned above . Those 4 fundamental interactions are :-
1.Strong Interaction - They are experienced by quarks and the gluons are responsible for force, this is only the reason for the nuclear force of attractions.
2.Weak Interaction - It is found in particles of leptons . W&Z bosons are responsible for it.
3.Electromagnetism - The forces or interactions caused due to magnetic effects or charged particles come under this category.
4.Gravitation - Any body that has a mass would show this property , its a property of a mass to attract another mass . Gravitons are responsible for this , although its existence is yet to be confirmed , its just hypothetical right now.
So this is just a brief summary of what all you can get to learn in QUANTUM THEORY
